Cargando...Singer-songwriter Allen Ling is an American born artist whose music career skyrocketed since launching in 2023. Allen’s thought-provoking lyrics and stunning melodies connect with people’s hearts crossing over genres such as Adult Contemporary, Pop, Indie and Easy Listening.
Allen proved great art can come from suffering, as his “Heartbreak Trilogy” ascended the music charts with storylines taken from his own experience with love and relationships. Allen also produced spectacularly visual music videos “Into the Ocean”, “A Name in Your Book” and “Closer” which have been celebrated with over 100 domestic and international awards at film festivals.
«Remember» achieved the #1 spot on both World Indie Music and European Indie Music Charts. The track peaked in the Top 100 of DRT Global Top 150 Independent Airplay Chart (#59), and DRT Global Top 50 Rock Airplay Chart (peaked at #19) sharing space with the likes of Foo Fighters, Metallica, Linkin Park among others.
Allen’s release of the love ballad “Closer” in March 2024 landed at #1 in the World Indie Music Top 100 charts, was submitted fora Grammy nomination for «Best Solo Pop Performance” and quickly passed over 1 million views on Youtube after Allen’s India tour with David Lopez of alternative rap-rock band Flipsyde.
Allen’s body of music compositions from 1984 to 1988 were exhumed in 2009 after encouragement from his friend Bryan “Brain” Mantia, one of the premier drummers and producer/composers in contemporary music. Allen produced over two dozen original songs with the production & performance team of Brain (Drum Programming and Arrangements, and Music Arrangements and live drums), and Melissa Reese (lead and background vocals, production and keyboards). Dave Lopez quickly joined the music production team and played and arranged lead guitar. Sound Engineers include Grammy nominated producer Cookie Marenco, Caram Costanzo (Guns N’ Roses “Chinese Democracy” album) and Grammy winner Reto Peter (multiple Green Day records).
