Capucine Cantrell (born Nov 9, 1968) is an African American, mixed race, French, Indian, Spanish, and a number of other nationalities. Who later married Johnny Lee Jackson, known to many as Johnny “J” who was a successful music producer in his own right, she became, Capucine Jackson. During their marriage he produced records for the likes of 2Pac, and many others, she did some small parts on records, but nothing out side of that, because she was tone deaf.
After 17 years of marriage her life got turned upside down, when her husband committed suicide. She went back to college, and it is there where her college professors re-introduced the Bible to her, and prophesized that she would become a singer. Within months of that prophesy she was given the gift to sing out of a sound sleep, and started singing words upon words of praise, and had written a few songs within a few hours on July 1, 2009.
She got her professional name from her dad who nicknamed her Coppe when she was just 10 months old. She is now a gospel recording artist going by the name Coppe Cantrell, writer, producer, a businesswoman, and a philanthropist. She is the wife and mother of 2 children. Her native English. Her brand new single “Time to Get Wired”, has hit the number 1 spot on the World Indie Charts, and the European Indie Charts. She is known for her boldness, and not afraid, to preach the non-compromising word of God in her music. She has four songs that reached the number 1 position on the World Indie Charts, Euro Indie, and including the smash hit “Dance in The Dark, which reached the Top 40 Mediabase Charts currently at #42, her album The Breastplate of Righteousness, reached #8 on iTunes, Christian Charts, upon its release.
