Cargando...I am extremely honored to present my song “Surround Me With Your Angels, Lord” to the world. Truly I feel this special song will comfort and console so many. My name is Patricia Rain Sudworth from Glace Bay Cape Breton Nova Scotia. I was born February 17, 1947 the fourth child of nine born to Harold Sudworth (a very hard working coal miner from the age of 10 until years past retirement) and mother Blanche (Trainor) Sudworth, a stay at home mom. The Cry of The Miner (my signature writing and song) will be released soon. I am the proud mother of six children and fifteen grandchildren. At 77 years of age at present 2024 I am just getting connected to the music industry (never too late).
I am also very proud of my English & Irish roots. Paternal grandfather Billy Sudworth (immigrant from England to Glace Bay) and maternal grandfather Pius Trainor (immigrant from Ireland to Glace Bay). Grandfather Billy Sudworth I often heard was a great singer. He composed many songs but never wrote them down (too bad).
I have written hundreds of lyrics (potential songs). “Surround Me With Your Angels, Lord” was written in 2004. Was going through a difficult time and as I was walking down the hall of my home I put my two arms up in the arm and verbally said aloud Surround Me With Your Angels Lord (never heard this phrase before). I immediately sat down and wrote the lyrics for this so special writing in less than 5 minutes. Immediately I felt this song is what the world needed. Fast forward October 2024 the song “Surround Me With Your Angels, Lord” was born on October 12, 2024 it was sung by Sam Peters, Seratone Studios Montreal. All my requests for song were 100% met by Sam Peters baritone voice soothing and comforting. I also requested the chorus Oh Oh I Hear The Angels. Song was released on Facebook on October 12, 2024. My very soul cried when I first heard the song and it still does.
