Backstrom is a Swedish songwriter who writes songs in the
«Americana» genres and records them with talented
musicians online. After a long break from music, Backstrom
had a creative year in 2023, during which he wrote a lot of
songs and finally released the album «The Carousel» in
january 2024, and later during -24, the darker acoustic
album «Dark Clouds» was recorded and released. Looking
ahead, Backstrom already has his next album in the pipeline.
”The Contrairian” is the main single and the title track from
Backstrom’s upcoming album by the same name, which will
be released on June 11th. It ́s a catchy, acoustic americana
