When economic factors beyond his control forced him to shut down his 4th generation dairy farm and to sell his beloved Guernsey cows, Jeff Corle was left heart broken and deeply depressed, not even knowing what he’d do next in life.
But as the saying goes, when one door closes, another one opens . . .
In the midst of his heartache and pain, Corle turned to an old friend for comfort and relief – his guitar, and through tears he poured his heart out into writing the song that would go on to touch tens of thousands of people around the world, Empty Barn.
Empty Barn would go on to open doors for Corle that he never could have imagined, launching him on a journey that as Rob Sharkey of RFDTV’s Shark Farmer TV fame so aptly put it, «from cows to country music!»
Corle’s debut album, Farm Animal, would soon follow along with appearances on national TV and in worldwide publications and oh yeah, continued social media virality!
For a guy who never used social media much prior to that new door opening, it’s ironic that Empty Barn and other content and releases from Farm Animal have generated over 70 million social media views, including 32 million TikTok views and 1.9 million TikTok likes, making Corle the most unlikely of social media influencers!
Embracing his new career as an independent country music artist/storyteller/speaker, Corle uses his platform to shed light on the plight of small farmers and the mental health challenges that like him, many farmers face.
With his new release, Come Together America, he’s also taking a stand for unity and healing, calling the song “One farmer’s humble attempt to heal our nation.”
Corle’s blend of traditional country music mixed with his own brand of outlaw country and his knack for telling a story have garnered him legions of fans.
