Zpextre is a musician, composer, skateboarder, and Internal Medicine doctor living in
California, USA. Designing his productions on a foundation of authenticity and
empowerment, Zpextre intertwines Psychrock and Psychpostpunk with real-world
scenario twists, creating compelling, soul-enriching pieces that surface authentic
emotions and ultimately leave his audiences wanting more.
It didn’t take long for Zpextre to begin leveraging music to escape the difficulties of a
“stand out” life. Music to him at the time offered an ability to drown out the outside
world and mute the unwarranted noise that taxed the mind and body. However, though
he and his friends used music as an escape, he noticed just how music could unify and
bring people together. He saw music as communication, and how it could deliver key
messages or feelings that could not be conveyed by words. With this as his base,
Zpextre shifted from playing music with his friends to jumpstarting his career.
Now, Zpextre presents two songs, ”Mirror Mirror,” a song telling a story about a
person who has become a monster and can no longer look at themselves in the mirror,
and their only way forward is to break the mirror because it’s the only thing holding
them back from their ambitions, and ”Shell Of A Man,” a song about those times when
things are super heavy and you’ve been reduced to a shell of a man. You must find the
energy to pick up your things to move forward, and have faith that things can get better
if you let them. Stay tuned!
