‘Can’t Find You’ is a vibrant montage of luscious synths, deeply atmospheric chords and whimsical tones that flirt between the lines of ambient UKG and deep house. Heartbeat-like drum pads raise the vibration and send the listener into a subconscious state of dreaming, or dancing, a hallmark sign of AVAION’s presence. Whilst Oskar med k’s sombre looped vocal calls out “I can’t find you” and leave the listener to interpret their own feelings of longing associated. Ultimately, ‘Can’t Find You’ strikes the sweet spot of a record that is equally melancholic yet mesmerising.
